Research in the Meek Lab aims to 1) determine the role of genetic diversity and diversification in population and ecosystem health and persistence, 2) understand the causes and consequences of life history trait diversity, 3) identify how natural and anthropogenic forces affect diversity and adaptation, and 4) develop genomic tools to aid in the study and management of species. The vast majority of our work is done with the goal of improving our ability to conserve biodiversity.
